Translated by: Mujtaba Al-Helu

Nothing could go beyond questioning, among which is the philosophy of Mahdism and its dimensions. It should undergo the framework of History and its teleology. It can be also studied under the light of the philosophy of justice and its role in human society, wherein it could never be completely applied due to society’s secular policies and culture. Accordingly, we live in a world of injustice, upon which the societies were built, resulting in foundational disorders, crises, conflicts, catastrophes, and misfortunes that became the everlasting plagues of human society.
This study tends to encounter the philosophy of Mahdism and its relation to the concept of justice, and its pivotal role in religious thoughts. It reflects the teleological theories of the utopia Imam Al-Mahdi is expected to establish. The method employed in this study is historical, in which ideas are discussed in their historical context. It also discusses the idea of the end of history and its teleology, which had been pre-planned by God.
Thus, this paper discusses the related issues, starting with the concept of justice and its relevance to the philosophy of Mahdism.
